According to a news release, Smith brings to the role over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, joining the national leadership team to spearhead efforts in expanding the broker network and enhancing engagement with mortgage professionals across Canada.
Smith has been described to have experience in executing growth strategies and delivering substantial results within the financial services sector. She holds the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation, underscoring her commitment to industry standards and leadership.
In her new role, Smith will be responsible for leading Centum’s national initiatives to grow its broker network membership and foster strategic partnerships. Her mandate also includes overseeing sales performance, providing market insights, representing the Centum brand, and engaging with the industry nationwide.
Before joining Centum, Smith served as regional vice-president at Manulife Bank. Based in Ontario, Smith will collaborate closely with CENTUM’s national leadership team, brokerage partners, and affiliated real estate brands to cultivate long-term value for members and position the company for continued national growth.
