CMP announces the top-performing brokers of last year

Canada's top 75 mortgage brokers revealed

Canada’s leading mortgage brokers are continuing to eke out success in a challenging market – and Canadian Mortgage Professional is proud to reveal our annual Top 75 list for 2025, spotlighting the brokers who have achieved the highest volume across the country over the previous year.

While economic turbulence grew during 2024, and interest rates remained stubbornly high, Canada’s leading brokers distinguished themselves for their ability to maintain a steady flow of originations and find new business opportunities.

Brokers were invited to submit overall funded volumes for 2024 that were verified by aggregators, franchisors, or lenders and consisted of residential-based, personally initiated deals.

We also highlighted the accomplishments of leading brokers in smaller markets: those who are breaking new volume barriers where at least 80% of the broker’s business is from average home prices below $657,145.

There was no single factor that helped brokers achieve success in the year past – but trusty, clarity, and connection were key ingredients of their interactions with clients, while high-tech tools and a human touch also proved invaluable.

Among those taking their place on the prestigious list for 2025 were Danny Ibrahim (Keyrate Mortgage), Chris Allard (Mortgage Intelligence), Goldy Singh (Diverse Mortgage Group/TMACC), Joanna Zhou (TMG The Mortgage Group), Ryan LaHaye (Groupe RLH – Planiprêt), and Walid Mutahar (Get A Better Mortgage).
