Find out which leading executives made the cut this year

Canadian Mortgage Professional can now exclusively reveal its Top 50 Women of Influence for 2025, featuring women who are continually reshaping Canada’s mortgage industry, setting an example for others and constantly raising the bar.
Executives across the industry – in the lender, broker and service provider spaces – are featured on this year’s list, with a huge number of applications under consideration as always.
CMP asked mortgage professionals to nominate outstanding female leaders from across the industry, with nominators asked to describe their nominee’s achievements and noteworthy initiatives over the past 12 months – including specific contributions to the mortgage industry.
A judging panel featuring some of the most renowned names in the industry selected the final list. Included in that panel were:
- Carla Giles, Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – BC (CMBA-BC)
- Daniela DeTommaso, FCT
- Heather Bowie, Flare Mortgage Group
- Leah Zlatkin, Mortgage Outlet
- Samantha Gale, Canadian Private Lenders Association
To avoid any possible conflicts of interest, votes for a judge’s own organization or company, and self-voting, were voided.
Among the industry icons making up this year’s Women of Influence were:
- Alana Riley, IG Wealth Management
- Dr. Natasha Bridgmohan, The BridgGroup of Companies
- Renée Huse, Spire Mortgage Team
- Tara Somerset, Nesto Group
