William Farrington is the editor of Mortgage Professional Australia, where he spends his days talking with industry experts and telling their stories. He began his financial journalism career on the fast-paced London beat, where he worked on numerous news desks and trade publications before returning to Australia in 2025. William (or just Billy once you get to know him) completed a BA in Journalism and Media at Birkbeck University, UK, before going on to finish a Master’s in Creative and Critical Writing, also at Birkbeck.
