Delanty promoted to national board, new state presidents announced

The Finance Brokers Association of Australasia (FBAA) made a series of leadership changes, announcing the appointment of Justin Delanty to its national board and naming new state presidents and vice presidents across several regions.
Delanty, who has served as the FBAA’s Tasmanian state president and is managing director of Lending4U, will join the national board following the departure of Barry Honey for personal reasons.
Delanty brings extensive industry experience, with a broking career spanning nearly three decades and an ongoing advisory role with Yellow Brick Road Aggregation.
"Having seen the exponential growth of the FBAA’s membership over the past few years, I am excited to be involved with its ongoing transformation to the pre-eminent financial services membership body in Australia," Delanty said of his appointment.
FBAA managing director Peter White (pictured) praised Delanty’s contribution at the state level and his readiness for a national role.
“We appreciate Justin’s great work as a state president, and his significant experience on boards over many years means that members can be confident that he will fit seamlessly into the role of a national director,” said White.
White also paid tribute to outgoing director Barry Honey, acknowledging his leadership and expertise since joining the board in 2021.
