Recruitment, tech, brand awareness name top of agenda for FRONT Financial
Sydney-based brokerage FRONT Financial has joined mortgage aggregator Finsure, one year into swinging its doors open for business.
FRONT Financial – which secured a spot in the Australian Mortgage Awards’ Bankwest-sponsored New Brokerage of the Year category in 2025 – has positioned the partnership as a way of further expanding its rapidly growing footprint.
“The team at Finsure understand what we want, and I can tell they are committed to helping us get there,” co-founder and director Ryan Sweeney (pictured, left) said.
Sweeney, whose previous stints included roles at MortgageWorks and Shore Financial, added: “Moving across to Finsure has been just one step in our growth plan. We’ve recently revamped our branding to better reflect our diverse offering, invested in a brand-new Sydney CBD premise to support our rapid team expansion and engaged leading experts to help develop a website and marketing collateral which aligns to our clientele.
“We’re currently exploring opportunities to make 2026 even bigger, with a particular focus on recruiting more support staff, investing in new technology and spreading the FRONT Financial brand to a wider customer base.”
Director William Banham (pictured, right), who left Loan Market to co-found FRONT Financial alongside Sweeney, put the brokerage’s rapid growth down to a strong team culture.
“Ryan and I simply shared our vision with all our members, and each one of them believes in it as much as we do,” he said. “We’re quite a dynamic group, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to do anything to help our clients achieve their goals. It’s this genuine desire which has helped us.”
Finsure’s NSW State Manager Paul Song said the aggregator was looking forward to working with the growing aggregator.
“When we first spoke to Ryan and William about their upcoming plans, quite frankly, we were blown away,” said Song. “The phrase ‘slow and steady’ isn’t in their vocabulary – they have a plan to become Australia’s leading brokerage and the drive to get there. I’m confident that the support services we offer will allow them to reach their goals.”
