Other life: Dogs, family and purpose

Mortgage broker Rosa Malekan finds daily inspiration and gratitude through the love and lessons of her dogs

Other life: Dogs, family and purpose

For mortgage broker Rosa Malekan of Help Street, life with her three dogs – Bella, Bindi, and Archie – is a daily reminder of what truly matters.

“They bring warmth, laughter, and a sense of calm to our home,” Malekan says.

Her family of five, including her three sons, share endless moments of joy and connection thanks to their furry companions.

Living with animals, Malekan explains, has taught her powerful lessons about love, patience, and presence.

“Watching my children care for and learn from our dogs shows how much animals can teach us – about empathy, responsibility, and unconditional love,” she says.

These lessons, Malekan adds, extend far beyond home life.

“Behind every loan, there’s a story – a family, a dream, a milestone,” she says. “My dogs remind me to stay grounded, to listen deeply, and to never lose sight of what really drives people – the desire to create a safe, loving space.”

An advocate for animal adoption, Malekan says: “Two of my three dogs were rescued – seeing them thrive has been one of life’s greatest rewards.”

For Malekan, every day begins and ends with gratitude – for family, for clients, and for the loyal dogs who remind her what home truly means.

“Dogs remind me daily that the most valuable things in life aren’t measured in dollars – they’re felt in love and connection.
