AFX Rewards offers points-based benefits for asset finance introducers
The Asset Finance Exchange (AFX), LMG's platform designed to connect mortgage brokers and other finance professionals with asset finance specialists, has introduced AFX Rewards, a points-based loyalty scheme for partners who refer asset finance transactions through its platform.
Under the program, partners earn rewards on completed referrals to AFX’s referral partners, with points credited once a deal has settled. The initiative sits alongside existing commission and referral fee arrangements for introducers.
Asset Finance Exchange general manager Jordan Mutton (pictured top) said the scheme was developed to recognise the contribution of referral partners and deepen their connection with the platform.
“Referral partners play a critical role in the success of the Asset Finance Exchange,” Mutton said. “AFX Rewards is about recognising that contribution in a simple, transparent and meaningful way, without adding any extra administration for referral partners or hubs.”
AFX Rewards is based on a “refer, earn, redeem” structure, modelled on familiar airline schemes such as Qantas Frequent Flyer. Each settled referral generates 25 AFX Reward points, which are then allocated and accrue over time. Partners must record at least two settled transactions in a calendar month before they begin earning points. Each point carries a value of one dollar.
Participants can use their balance in the AFX Rewards store, which offers a selection of products and experiences. Points do not expire, allowing partners to accumulate or access them as required.
Within its first year of operation, AFX has achieved $80 million in settled transactions. It facilitated over 1,800 deals, with the average transaction valued at nearly $45,000. AFX operates under the umbrella of LMG and uses proprietary technology to streamline referrals from brokers to asset finance experts.
“One of the strengths of the Asset Finance Exchange has always been ease of use and transparency,” Mutton said. “AFX Rewards follows that same philosophy — it’s seamless, automatic and designed to reward partners for doing what they already do.”
He added that the launch of AFX Rewards supports AFX’s longer-term role as a referral channel for asset finance professionals.
“The Asset Finance Exchange continues to evolve beyond a referral marketplace,” Mutton said. “Programs like AFX Rewards help create deeper engagement and long-term value for partners, while reinforcing the Exchange as a trusted extension of their business.”
