Who took the top spot in Bankwest-sponsored report?

The results of MPA’s Top Brokerages of 2025 are now live.
Sponsored by Bankwest, this report showcases the 49 best-performing brokerages in Australia, following an exhaustive analysis of three main criteria:
- total settlements
- loan book size
- conversion rate
Brokerages of five or more loan writers were invited to submit their figure for the period between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.
Ian Rakhit, Bankwest’s general manager homebuying distribution, said: “Congratulations to everyone recognised in the MPA Top Brokerages Report! Brokers play a critical role in helping customers reach their home ownership goals and Bankwest is honoured to help celebrate their achievements.”
A glimpse at the winners
Sydney-based XIN Mortgage secured the No. 6 spot thanks to its long-term commitment to the full spectrum of residential and commercial clients. Director William Xin, who oversees a 36-strong team of brokers, attributed the accolade to XIN Mortgage’s top-tier technology and loan-processing systems.
“By leveraging these systems, our brokers can focus on income-generating activities such as sales and relationship-building,” said Xin. This boosts satisfaction and leads to more repeat and referral businesses.”
Sydney-based commercial property heavyweight Rethink Financing took the No. 16 spot (in a tie with Acceptance Finance) for its exceptional work in the investment-grade property sector.
“No deal is just a number on a loan book,” said Rethink Financing’s managing director Son Pham. “Each client represents a long-term relationship and a long-term financial vision.”
Once again, Simplicity Loans & Advisory took the No. 1 spot, marking the third consecutive year that the Jean-Pierre Gortan-headed brokerage topped the list.
Rounding out the top five were:
No. 2: The Australian Lending and Investment Centre
No. 3: Absolut Financial
No. 4: Infinity Group
No. 5: Ausun Finance
Each of the 49 winners showcased immense dedication to their clients and a consistent focus on intelligently scaling their businesses.
Anja Pannek, chief executive of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), said: “One of the most effective ways brokerages can grow revenue is by expanding their capacity through smart resourcing – aligning roles and responsibilities to maximise efficiency.”
