UHM bolsters Mid-Atlantic presence with key hires

Union Home Mortgage (UHM) has announced the appointment of new leadership for its Mid-Atlantic region. A news release highlighted that the move is part of the company’s strategy to expand in key growth markets.

The newly appointed team brings decades of experience, particularly in the new construction sector. Frank DiMaio has been named regional manager for the Mid-Atlantic, joining UHM with more than 25 years in the mortgage industry. He previously held leadership roles at Wells Fargo, including as regional sales manager and senior vice president. DiMaio also serves as a board member for Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks, an organization focused on affordable housing initiatives in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Joining DiMaio are Matt Barker, Jamie Delp, and Michael Rosman, who are expected to facilitate UHM’s expansion in several Mid-Atlantic markets. Delp, described as a “top-producing manager,” will serve as area manager in Delaware. Rosman, based in Greater Philadelphia, will work on strengthening UHM’s presence in that region. Barker, also an area manager, will focus on growing operations in Pittsburgh.

UHM CEO Bill Cosgrove expressed optimism about the company’s growth potential. “There are some incredibly important markets in this region, and I am really excited to see what this new team can do with the resources they have at their disposal,” Cosgrove said. “I am optimistic about 2025, particularly within new construction, and you could not ask for a better team to execute on that optimism.”

The newly appointed leadership team has a combined 70 years of mortgage industry experience, with backgrounds at financial institutions such as Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase. Their focus will be on expanding UHM’s partnerships with builders, realtors, and homebuyers across the region.

Union Home Mortgage is an independent mortgage banking company operating in 48 states and Washington, D.C. The company provides retail, wholesale, and consumer direct lending services.
