Non-bank lender names four new business development managers, bulks up underwriting team

Bluestone Home Loans has announced a swathe of new hires as the non-bank lender eyes growth in the second half of 2025.
In South Australia, Bluestone has welcomed Rochelle Melino (pictured below, lest) and Lauren McClure (pictured below, right) as new business development managers (BDMs), while Matthew Lawrence (pictured, top right) in New South Wales has moved up from business support manager (BSM) to BDM
In Queensland, Nataya Keim (pictured to, left) has joined the ranks as a BDM.
Bluestone has also brought on four new BSMs nationally and added three underwriters to its credit team.
These additions are designed to “bolster the service and turnaround times available to brokers and their clients,” said Tony MacRae, Bluestone’s chief commercial officer.
“Our BDMs, BSMs and underwriters are at the heart of the broker experience,” added MacRae. “By expanding these teams, we’re making sure brokers continue to have access to responsive, knowledgeable support that helps them deliver the right solutions for their clients.”
The timing of these changes coincides with Bluestone’s recent brand refresh and 25th anniversary celebrations. To mark this milestone, Bluestone brought back its 25th Anniversary Offer of an additional 0.25% discount on rates, alongside a 25-basis-point cut to new applicants following the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)’s August rate cut.
MacRae said Bluestone is seeing “fantastic engagement” with its anniversary offer.
“These team changes, combined with the offer, signal the strength and momentum of our business, and our ongoing commitment to brokers,” said MacRae.
