AMP Bank appoints new broking partnerships lead

Reshuffle comes as bank rolls out new digital lending origination platform

AMP Bank appoints new broking partnerships lead

AMP Bank has appointed Travis Hall (pictured) as its new national manager – mortgage broker distribution, effective immediately.

Hall steps into the role with a mandate to deepen broker partnerships and drive strategic growth through AMP Bank’s third party channel.

He will oversee the bank’s broker network and business development team, at a time when AMP is ramping up its investment in digital infrastructure and service delivery for brokers.

The leadership reshuffle also sees Paul Herbert, currently head of lending and everyday banking distribution, transition into a newly created position: head of lending and everyday banking customer success, effective 8 September.

Herbert’s focus will shift to enhancing the customer journey across AMP’s home lending and transaction banking portfolios.

Michael Christofides, director of lending and everyday banking at AMP Bank, said the appointments reflect a dual commitment to brokers and customers.

“Travis brings deep industry experience and a strong track record of working closely with brokers and aggregator partners,” Christofides said. “His leadership will be critical as we continue to enhance broker support and deliver more value to the channel.”

Hall’s appointment comes on the heels of AMP Bank’s recent rollout of a new digital lending origination platform, designed to speed up turnaround times and streamline processes for both brokers and customers.
