Annual report showcases the broking industry's elite
Australia’s 16th annual Top 100 Brokers list is officially live.
The Commonwealth Bank-sponsored 2025 report showcases a broking industry firing on all cylinders, with a record market share of 77.6% of all new residential loans totalling $121.6 billion, a 21% year-on-year increase.
Australia’s top 100 brokers collectively settled $21.3 billion worth of loans, with 294 loans per broker on average, compared to 253 the year before.
The list has become more exclusive than ever, with $143 million in settlements now required to make the list, up from $123 million in 2024 and $113 million in 2023.
Brokers were ranked based on the value of loans written between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
MPA asked brokers across the industry to submit the total value of loans they had written over the last financial year. Brokers were also asked to state the number of loans they had written so MPA could determine their average loan size.
“CommBank is proud to continue our partnership with MPA Magazine and the Top 100 and would like to congratulate the award winners on their success,” said Baber Zaka, general manager of third party banking. “Have more confidence with CommBank as we empower brokers to achieve more for their clients by being adaptable, reliable, supportive and accessible.”
