GO Lend strengthens broker network with new BDM hire

Non-bank lender boosts adviser support with Nazareth appointment

GO Lend strengthens broker network with new BDM hire

Peer-to-peer mortgage lender GO Lend has appointed Nisha Nazareth (pictured) as business development manager of lending, as the non-bank lender continues to expand its reach with mortgage advisers.

GO Lend CEO Luke Jackson said the appointment would enhance the lender’s ability to engage with brokers and support its growing distribution network.

“We’re excited to welcome Nisha to the team,” Jackson said. “She brings with her a strong background in non-bank lending, with expertise spanning both sales and credit. Her appointment strengthens our ability to support a wider network of mortgage advisers and expand access to the Go Lend proposition.”

GO Lend recently rebranded from Arrow Finance and launched a Financial Markets Authority-licensed peer-to-peer mortgage platform, enabling retail investors to purchase portions of mortgage loans from as little as $1,000. Jackson said this structure supports Go Lend’s growth while providing strong returns for New Zealand investors and certainty of funding for advisers and their clients.

Peer-to-peer model supports advisers and investors

GO Lend funds all loan settlements directly using its own initial funding lines, before selling loans to its retail investor base post-settlement. This model provides:

  • Certainty of funding for advisers and clients
  • Opportunities for investors to participate in the private lending market

The lender has seen growing retail investor demand for private lending opportunities, creating strong prospects for both advisers and borrowers.

Ross Brogden, Go Lend’s head of credit and operations, said the lender’s model ensures initial loan funding to provide borrowers and advisers with the certainty they need at drawdown.

Since its launch nine months ago, GO Lend has built a solid and expanding investor base, driven by rising interest in non-bank and private lending solutions.

GO Lend was incorporated on Jan. 17, 2024, and was licensed by FMA on Nov. 12, 2024, to operate a peer-to-peer mortgage lending marketplace.
