Kurt Strandson

Kurt Strandson is the founder of Pinnacle Mortgage Corporation, where his mission is to create a better, more personalized borrowing experience. He believes every client’s financial circumstances are unique, and he takes pride in working closely with individuals to guide them through the often-overwhelming process of buying or refinancing a home.  

By leveraging longstanding relationships with lenders and investors, Strandson ensures his clients are matched with the right products, while also making education and transparency central to his approach. 

A recognized leader in the mortgage industry for nearly two decades, he was president of the Mortgage Bankers & Brokers Association of New Hampshire from 2011 to 2012 and has served as legislative chairman since 2007. 

In these capacities, Strandson has advocated for responsible lending at the New Hampshire State Legislature, the US Congress, the Federal Reserve, and the US Chamber of Commerce. He also worked with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers on the passage of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008. He currently serves as Broker Action Coalition Northeast regional chair. 

Strandson lives in New Hampshire with his wife, Hollie, and their six children. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends poolside.
