You can help determine who triumphs

The mortgage industry is a high achieving sector, of course, and a key part of those achievements is the acknowledgement of your peers for the contribution you are making to a thriving market. And so it is that The Mortgage Introducer Awards 2025 will highlight what makes this such a special profession to be involved in. With nominations open, it is an opportunity to celebrate the very best talent in the industry.
The gala awards ceremony will be held at Old Billingsgate in London on Wednesday December 3, celebrating true excellence in the UK mortgage industry, and noting the achievements of mortgage lenders, distributors, brokers, and individuals alike. It is an opportunity like no other for professionals in the mortgage industry to come together, network, and celebrate their successes. Every year of these coveted awards sees the event go from strength to strength.
This year there are over 30 categories in total, including Best Buy-to-Let Lender, Best Specialist Lender, Private Bank of the Year, and Mortgage Network of the Year. The awards also recognise individual achievements, with categories such as Innovator Champion of the Year and Rising Star of the Year. There really is a wide breadth of categories to cover every aspect of a fantastic profession.
Yellow Brick Mortgages picked up the award for Excellence in Philanthropy & Community Service at last year’s ceremony. “We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Mortgage Introducer Awards 2024, getting together some of our team from across the UK to celebrate being shortlisted for three industry awards,” said managing director Stephen Perkins (pictured right in the main image). “The cherry on top was winning the philanthropy award based around our giving back ethos, which is the foundation of our business. Sharing this accolade via social media and our website continues to demonstrate credibility to clients and potential recruits alike.” Perkins is highly positive about the awards event itself. “The evening is also a great opportunity to network with a selection of exceptional businesses and partners and providers,” he said.
Nominations for the awards are open until August 15 – and, importantly, you can nominate yourself or others. The shortlist will be unveiled in September, with the deserving winners revealed on the night of the awards ceremony.

How does it feel to win?
For Grant Hendry (pictured fourth from the left, in the inset image, above), Foundation Home Loans being named Specialist Lender of the Year in 2024, was clearly momentous. “Winning the best specialist lender last year was honestly a career highlight,” said Hendry, Foundation’s director of sales. “To see how much it meant to everyone in the business, and to finally be acknowledged for everything we have done to support the specialist market, made for a wonderful end to the year.”
Back again for 2025, The Mortgage Introducer Awards once more promises to be the leading event in the UK industry’s calendar. Certainly, the team behind this year’s spectacle promises it will be bigger and better than ever, with more categories and more nominations, to ensure it is truly special.
