Free four-step playbook promises to turn brokers’ scattergun marketing into focused, measurable growth

Momenti Group launches free strategy playbook to sharpen brokers’ marketing

Momenti Group has launched a free Marketing Strategy Playbook aimed at helping mortgage brokers move away from ad‑hoc marketing activity and build clearer, more effective plans.

The guide, available to download from Momenti's website, sets out a simple framework to help firms define their objectives, clarify their positioning and focus their spend on activity that delivers better client engagement and retention.

Jeff Knight, managing director of Momenti Group and creator of the Playbook, said too many firms start with tactics – such as social posts or paid advertising – without first agreeing a strategy, leading to “wasted time, wasted budget, and inconsistent results”.

He said the resource is designed to give brokers “clarity and confidence” by forcing them to answer core questions before committing budget, including who they are targeting, how they want to be positioned in the market and what key messages they need to communicate.

The Playbook is structured around four stages: understanding where the business is now, setting a destination, mapping how to get there and identifying how success will be measured. It is pitched as a practical planning tool rather than a detailed marketing manual, giving brokers a foundation for better decision‑making rather than turning them into marketing specialists.

Knight said the aim is to help brokers turn “random marketing activities into intentional actions with purpose”, ensuring that each campaign aligns with a wider strategy rather than being a one‑off experiment.

Momenti Group, which launched in July as a subsidiary of Pegasus Insight, focuses on delivering sales and marketing consultancy and training to organisations and individuals across the mortgage sector. The business is positioned around helping firms respond more quickly to changing market conditions, with an emphasis on agility, insight and growth.
