She will oversee intermediary teams across Midlands, Wales, and South West
HSBC has announced the appointment of Louise Evans, tasked to lead the bank’s intermediary mortgages team in the central region.
As head of the region, she will oversee business development managers across the Midlands, Wales, and the South West of England. She will join Justin Miners and Paul Norgate, who lead the London and South East, and the North regions, respectively.
Evans has built a substantial career in the mortgage and financial services sector, holding a range of senior roles across the industry.
Prior to joining HSBC, she served as head of operations at TMA Club for nearly seven years, managing departments, developing key stakeholder relationships, and leading initiatives to improve internal processes and customer experience. Her responsibilities also included driving the performance of broker support teams, overseeing the creation and delivery of marketing and event strategies, and ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.
Earlier in her career, Evans spent over nine years at Personal Touch Financial Services in the West Midlands, progressing through several leadership positions. As head of appointed representative recruitment and relations, she managed network recruitment functions, developed both internal and external stakeholder relationships, and implemented process improvements to support sales growth and retention.
Her experience also includes roles at Accident Exchange, Brinc, and the Royal Bank of Scotland, where she developed expertise in mortgages, team development, and customer-focused service.
“We are delighted Louise is joining our intermediaries team as we continue to strengthen our intermediary offering,” said Richard Beardshaw, head of intermediary sales at HSBC UK.
