New platform aims to simplify access to energy-efficient home loans

Lenderhive, a newly launched digital mortgage broker, has begun operations with a focus on helping homeowners secure loans that reward energy efficiency.
The company, which operates as an appointed representative of the Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) network, seeks to streamline the process of finding and applying for green mortgages by leveraging data and technology.
The broker said its digital platform was designed to make green mortgage options more accessible and transparent for borrowers. Lenderhive’s service is fully online, allowing applicants to complete the entire process without printing or scanning documents. Borrowers can track the status of their applications through a digital dashboard and receive email updates at key stages, while human support remains available when needed.
“Mortgages can feel complex, but the continued progress in modern green finance is making sustainable home buying more accessible than ever,” said James Armitage (pictured left), mortgage adviser and chief executive of Lenderhive. “We simplify the process, ensuring borrowers see the best available deals, including green mortgages that align with their financial and environmental goals.”
Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) has welcomed Lenderhive to its network, which has experienced significant growth in adviser numbers over the past year.
“Lenderhive sets a new industry benchmark, combining innovative technology with consumer-centric service, and regulatory compliance, said Ahmed Bawa (pictured right), chief executive of Rosemount Financial Solutions. “Mortgages which reward energy efficiency are going to become more important in the years ahead.
“Advisers will play a crucial role in helping borrowers find the right products for their circumstances. This is the future of mortgage broking. We are delighted to have Lenderhive within the Rosemount family, and look forward to supporting them in their future success.”
By also joining the Open Property Data Association (OPDA), Lenderhive aims to make green mortgage options more accessible and transparent. The firm’s use of smart property data is intended to help consumers find deals that match both their financial and environmental needs.
“We’re delighted to see Lenderhive supporting transparency and consumer choice through access to smart property and finance data,” said Maria Harris, chair of the Open Property Data Association. “Their approach, adopting our open data standards, is key to OPDA’s goal of making property information easier to access and helping all homebuyers and sellers make better financial decisions.”
