Annual event to spotlight top performers across the UK mortgage sector
Mortgage Introducer has officially announced the Excellence Awardees for 2025, once again recognising outstanding achievement among lenders, brokers, distributors, and individuals in the UK mortgage market.
This year’s awards will feature more than 30 categories, including Best Buy-to-Let Lender, Best Specialist Lender, Private Bank of the Year, and Mortgage Network of the Year. Individual accomplishments will also be acknowledged, with honours such as Innovator Champion of the Year and Rising Star of the Year up for grabs. Entry for the 2025 awards opened on May 12 and closed on Aug. 15.
“The Mortgage Introducer Awards, like all industry awards, serve a vital purpose — not only do they spotlight excellence and innovation, but they also inspire the next generation to raise the bar even further, said Vic Jannels, chief executive of the Bridging & Development Lenders Association. “Ours is a people business, built on passion, persistence and professionalism, and awards like these celebrate those who embody those values.” Jannels won last year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Dec. 3 at Old Billingsgate in London. The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 6pm, followed by the awards presentation and dinner banquet at 7:30pm, and a post-party celebration from 10:30pm. The event offers industry professionals the opportunity to network and recognise outstanding achievement across the sector.
Hosting the evening will be Jen Brister, a stand-up comedian and writer known for appearances on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, The Weakest Link, QI, and Mock the Week.
