Firms recognised for excellence in culture, reputation, and employee rewards
Mortgage Introducer has today published its annual list of the best mortgage employers in the UK.
The 2025 Top Mortgage Employers were selected based on employee feedback across eight key areas: advancement, benefits, compensation, culture, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), innovation, reputation, and sustainable programmes.
Nominees provided detailed information about their workplace policies and practices, followed by anonymous staff surveys. Minimum participation levels were set according to organisation size to ensure fair representation. Final results determined gold, silver and bronze awards in the categories of brokerages, lenders and networks.
Staff at leading firms consistently reported workplaces that demonstrate their values through visible mentorship, transparent leadership and inclusive recruitment. Among the initiatives embedded in these organisations are structured mentoring and returner programmes, mental health first aid training, comprehensive DE&I strategies, support for professional qualifications such as CeMAP, and clear career progression routes.
Across all categories, employees placed the greatest importance on culture, reputation, benefits and compensation. These factors were most often cited as distinguishing features of Mortgage Introducer’s Top Mortgage Employers for 2025.
Quantum Mortgages has been named the top employer among lenders for 2025, earning gold for its reputation, advancement opportunities and commitment to DE&I. The Milton Keynes-based buy-to-let specialist has now received this recognition for a second year.
