What did last year’s Awards attendees think of the big night?
Louise Drummond (pictured left), national intermediary distribution manager at Leeds Building Society, said of last year’s event: “What an amazing night. It made me realise what an amazing industry it is to work in, and so many legends all in one room - people who have helped me along the way and inspired me in so many ways.”
Senior mortgage and protection adviser at CARA Mortgage Services, Neil Renwick, (pictured second from left) has attended every year of the Awards so far. CARA is a sponsor, as well as a several times award winner. “I think the event is a great opportunity to recognise the top performers in our industry and to recognise all the hard work they do to provide the best service to their clients,” Renwick said. “It’s also a good opportunity to meet some of the lenders and industry peers.”
Meanwhile, Rachael Hunnisett (pictured second from right), director of mortgage distribution at April Mortgages, recalls last year’s memorable event. “What a fantastic evening - there was an amazing energy in the room,” said Hunnisett. “Brilliant to catch up with so many old friends too. We all know, it’s the people who make this industry so special.”
And 2025 nominee Isha Thomson (pictured right), business development manager at Skipton Building Building Society commented: “The Scottish Mortgage Awards are a fantastic opportunity for colleagues across the industry to come together in celebration of achievements over the last twelve months.
