Trade body invites mortgage and protection professionals to share their views in annual survey

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has launched its Protection Viewpoint survey for the sixth year, inviting mortgage and protection advisers to participate.
The annual survey aims to gather insights from advisers across the sector, regardless of AMI membership status.
AMI’s research is intended to reflect the realities of daily advisory work and to inform the development of resources for both individuals and firms. The survey is designed to be completed in under 10 minutes, with all responses remaining anonymous. Adviser feedback will contribute directly to the content of this year’s Protection Viewpoint report and help shape future industry guidance.
Responses from advisers will be analysed alongside consumer research to highlight any differences in perspective. The findings from both groups will be presented at a launch event on Nov. 5. AMI said it will also use the event to discuss the implications for adviser practices and firm-level resources.
“Adviser feedback plays a crucial role in our research, particularly as it’s reviewed alongside the consumer survey findings to highlight any gaps or differences in perspectives,” said Stacy Penn (pictured right), head of policy at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries.
“The more advisers who take part, the richer our insight will be. We encourage all mortgage or protection advisers to spare a few moments to contribute.”
The survey will remain open until the end of next week, Aug. 29.
