UTB and LiveMore expand teams to bolster broker support

United Trust Bank (UTB) and LiveMore have expanded their presence and broker support in regional markets with recent appointments aimed at improving service delivery and intermediary engagement.

UTB has expanded its bridging division with the appointment of Hayley Evans (pictured centre) as senior bridging underwriter and Harvey Wood (pictured left) as bridging underwriter. Both will be based permanently at the lender’s new Manchester office.

Evans brings more than 10 years of experience in property finance and banking, having worked with firms such as the Co-operative Bank, Embrace Financial Services, TSB Bank and Together. She is particularly experienced in regulated bridging and was recently named Underwriter of the Year at the 2024 Women’s Recognition Awards.

Wood joins UTB with experience in bridging and development finance, having worked with Together, SDKA, and most recently SoMo. He has overseen a variety of cases across residential, commercial and mixed-use property sectors, with a focus on property conversions, HMO developments and tranche funding coordination.

The Manchester office, located in Hardman Square, opened earlier this year and houses several of the bank’s lending and deposit teams, including property development, mortgages, asset finance and structured property finance.

Meanwhile, LiveMore has named James Green (pictured right) as its new key account manager for the Midlands, as the later life lender continues to extend its broker support nationwide.

Green has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, with a background in banking, mortgage lending and intermediary partnerships. He has worked with multiple building societies and has a strong grasp of business integration to improve outcomes for brokers and customers.

“Throughout my career, it’s always been essential to work with propositions that truly meet customer needs,” Green said. “LiveMore is transforming access to mortgage finance for older borrowers, with flexible criteria, smart use of income assessment and powerful tools like the LiveMore Mortgage Matcher.

“It’s exciting to join a team where innovation is valued and where everyone is united by a shared purpose – to say yes to more people. I’m looking forward to being the voice of the intermediary, bringing feedback into the business and doing the little things right – returning calls, replying to emails and offering dependable support.”

LiveMore offers a range of mortgage products for borrowers aged 50 to 90 plus, including standard capital and interest, interest-only, part and part, retirement interest-only, and lifetime mortgages.
